LATELY / UPDATE

We are already on Wednesday! This week is flying by. Easter weekend was lovely, and this week only being a four day week is even better. This weekend we are just going to try to explore our new area a little bit more and enjoy our new flat. I love our new home, it's so perfect for us!

I've spent the evening trying to tidy up my laptop. I've (stupidly) enough saved all of my photos on my laptop, and now they are taking up all the space. I even have a harddrive, I just haven't been using it! Now I'm spending hours trying to find where the photos are saved deep within the laptop, it's a tedious task but it has to be done. I'm trying to do a couple of months each time, but so far I can't really notice any progress. Ugh.

NEW IN: BACKPACK / TOPSHOP

When I was younger, about 14 years old, I loved big handbags. Like those massive ones, à la the Olsen twins. This is something that I with time outgrew, and the last couple of years I've actually prefered not having a bag with me at all, and I always try to avoid having to bring one. I've been trying to find a bag for a while now that's small enough not to be annoying but also big enough to carry my essentials. I've been using a cute crossbody bag for a while, which is great for nights out, but it doesn't fit my everyday necessities. If I bring it to work I always have to carry my diary/journal in one hand, which is rather annoying. Hence why I went on the hunt for, and found, a small backpack!

I spotted the above in Topshop last week and knew straight away that it was the one. It's not too small, yet not too big. It's got structure, a couple of pockets but still looks sleek. Perfect! It was about £30, so not even that bad. Other, similar bags in Topshop have been about £45 (which is also the reason to why I haven't bought one earlier). I'm so happy with it!

NEW IN: TOPSHOP GLOW POT

Good evening and happy Friday everyone! What are you up to tonight? I'm just doing my nails and having a little bit of a lazy night in, it is after all our last night in this flat as we are moving house tomorrow.

We went to pick up the keys yesterday and we are moving all of our things tomorrow. It feels a little bit surreal actually, and I didn't really tell anyone we were moving until on Wednesday, and even then I was really cautious as I didn't really dare to believe it myself. All of this has gone so smooth and also so quick, which isn't normally the way here in London, so I didn't want to start telling people if it would all fall through. But it hasn't! Everything has actually been going really well and George event went to put a few things in the flat earlier today when he set up the internet. So it's all good!

So yea, tonight we are just finishing the last bits of packing and eating take away. A great end to our stay in this flat.

Speaking about something completely different - have a look at my new highlighter! I love it. It's from Topshop and was only about £7 (correct me if I'm wrong). I love a great highlighter and a really dewy look, which this one is great for. It's not glittery it all, it just leaves a really nice shimmer. I'm not that into using too much powder products on my face at the moment as my skin is so dry, and this is really creamy and easy to work with and blend. Just a little tips for anyone looking for a great highlighter! It comes in two colours, one which is a little bit more golden and this one, which has got more of a pearl tone to it.
