NETFLIX ORIGINALS

TV-SERIES. Netflix has been killing it lately with their own series, and I wanted to share with you my two favourites. They are both brand new as well, so chances are that you might not have seen them yet! I binged watched both of them, but luckily for me one of them has already been confirmed for a second season and the other one still has six more episodes to be released.

I'm talking about 'The Get Down' and 'Stranger Things'. If you haven't heard about them yet, it's time for you to do some research. They are very different from each other; 'The Get Down' speaking about the political scene of the 70's, the birth of rap and the freedom of disco, hopes and dreams, whilst 'Stranger Things' is an incredible and beautiful mash up of the best of the 80's (think ET, The Gooneys etc). Both series talk about friendship and love, but in different ways. Both are incredible inspirational (I seriously need some flares in my life). And both are visually amazing, with some of the best soundtracks.

So far I'm yet to find someone who dislikes either of them. If you haven't seen them yet, give them a go! I'm pretty confident that you will love them too.

RESURRECTION //

Picture from yesterday. Resurrection is such a good tv series, I'm completely hooked! Love it.

Got today off from work as well, back tomorrow though for two day before going back to Devon on Friday evening. Can't wait! I really like going down there to get away from the city now when it's summer. x

DRACULA

Right now I've kinda narrowed down the amount of tv-series I watch. With school, work and keeping up with a social life I just don't have the time. Except those you just can't miss (the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and True Blood) I'm "only" letting myself enjoy American Horror Story Girls, New Girl, Pretty Little Liars, the Carrie Diaries, the Vampire Diaries, Glee, Grey's Anatomy and... Dracula. In December I was obsessing about Amerian Horror Story, if you do remember, but since then I've got a new favourite. It's Dracula. The trailer above is awful, and the first episodes are not very intriguing. I only continued watching because it takes place in London, and very often in East London where I happen to live. But now I just can't stop watching it and I catch myself longing for the next episode. Jonathan Rhys Meyers plays the part of Dracula, and I know some people can't stand him and then this series might not be for them, but I personally think that he is perfect for this part! Anyway, if you were planning on watching a new tv-series this weekend, I really think you should give this one a shot. It just grows on you! x

-----------------
Believe me!
